After the sampling apparatus is removed, the void left from the core removal is filled with pea gravel, the original concrete core is tamped in as far as it will go, and then a piece of hardware cloth goes on the top. The patching material is a very sticky fast curing acrylic compound that is troweled into the remaining void.
The patch in Hole #8 has cured and the Family Room is ready for restoration.
The patches for Holes #6 and #7 have cured enough for the restoration of the Foyer Floor to start.
The Foyer Floor is almost done.
